Week 6 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Balmy Blue

Hi and Welcome to week 6 of the colour creations blog-hop. We have now finished all of the 2022-2024 In-colors so we well be starting on the regular colours in Alphabetical order. Starting with Balmy Blue. I have chosen to do my card with a bundle that is retiring at the end of June, Called Love & Happiness.

I started my card with a Balmy Blue card base and added a Night of Navy layer. I then used a white layer to embossed with the Hybrid Embossing folder. I then used the dies to cut out the Heart from the centre. Using my blending brushes I coloured to Heart with Night of Navy Ink and the outer embossed area with Balmy Blue Ink. I place the larger section onto Dimensionals and the heart was glued down flat. I stamped my tag from the same stamp set in Night of Navy. With the flowers I stamped them onto some Basic White card using the Night of Navy Ink and then coloured them using the Balmy Blue Blends, Light and Dark. I layered these onto the front of the card. Then I Stamped the leaves from Forever Fern Set using Mossy Meadow and cut them out with the matching dies. I finished off the front with some Basic Rhinestones.

My insert was using the 2 for mentioned sets for the Sentiment and the flowers. I then coloured the flower in the same way as I did for the front of the card. Layering this onto another Night of Navy card and gluing to the inside of the card. All the items used in this project are current at the time of publication, but the Love & Happiness bundle will be retiring at the end of June 2022 so if you haven't already purchased this set and would like it please don't waste time as it is only available while stocks last. If you would like to purchases any of all of these product please feel free to contact me either by email, PM or phone.

Week 5 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Tahitian Tide

Hi and welcome to week 5 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Blog-Hop. If you haven't been here before we are showcasing all of the Stampin' Up! Colours in Alphabetical order. We are however starting with the new 2022-2024 In-colours and this is the Last of them. It's Called Tahitian Tide a Blue colour. This week I have chosen to case a card from the new 2022-2023 Annual catalogue, well it's my twist on it from page 113.

I started with a Tahitian Tide card base and added a Basic White layer. I them used the new Incolor DSP (159258), I cut it to size and then cut off a 1 inch (2.5cm) strip length ways and turned it around. This way both sides of the beautiful DSP can be seen. I then cut another piece of Basic White and stamped the one of the images from the In the Moment Stamp Set (157987) along with the sentiment. I used my Blends for colour the images and the die from the Hues of Happiness Bundle (158824) to put the holes down the side so that it looks as though it's been pulled out of a coil bound pad. I finished off the front of the card with glossy dots (158827) Even though they are Pool Party they matched pretty well with the card.

I love the look of the spiral bound edge it's really brings your eye to the centre of the card. I did mount this layer onto Dimensionals (104430).

My insert was every simple with the same stamped image at the bottom and the sentiment stamped with Tahitian Tide ink. I think this a card I would give to someone who it feeling a little low, so at this time I don't have anyone in mind. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to know more about these products or you would like to purchase them please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 4 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Sweet Sorbet

Hello and welcome to week 3 of the 2022-2023 Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring the 4th of the new Incolors Called Sweet Sorbet. It's a really pretty red colour with a hint of pink (well that's what I think anyway).

I have chosen another fun fold for you all and this one is an old one. It's a Diamond top card, but I have done it as a DL size card. Using the Hello Ladybug bundle for decoration. I'm so glad this one is carrying over from the Jan-June 2022 mini Catalogue.

I started my card with a Sweet Sorbet card base and added a Crumb Cake layer before adding a DSP layer form the Tea Bouquet papers. I then stamped the leaves from the Hello Ladybug bundle and fussy cut them out. I stamped my sentiment onto one of them and added the punched out ladybug to the other. I placed dimensionals under the lower leaf and under the ladybug. I finished off with the beautiful Iridescent Rhinestones.

My insert is very plain as always with just some flowers from the Ladybug stamp set stamped using Sweet Sorbet ink and memento for the stamped message. All the items used in this project can be found in the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these products please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I might help you.

Week 3 Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2022-2023 Starry Sky

Hello Everyone, and welcome to another year of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop.

This week we have Starry Sky, it's a beautiful Dark Blue Sky colour and I just think it's so nice. I have chosen to make a fancy fold card called "Drop Flap Easel Card". I started my card with a Starry Sky card base and added a Blushing Bride layer followed by the New Incolor DSP in Starry Sky. I cut the front angle of my card using the Basic Border Dies, I did this on all the layers. I used the off cuts to layer together and form my stopper. I then punch out the Oval from the Double Oval punch and made it into a saucer for my cup. The cups come from the Cup of Tea Bundle. I stacked them up and added the leaves to the top cup. Placing little tea bag tags hanging over the cups and one on the stopped. The butterflies are from the Butterfly Brilliance set.

For my insert I stamped the same leaves along the bottom and just a sentiment, keeping it simple. I'm really loving this card design and have also made a few others not using the incolors.

All the items used in this project are current and in the New Annual Catalogue that went live on the 3rd April 2022. If you would like to know more about these product or the New Annual Catalogue please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM so that I might help you.
