Hi Everyone and Welcome to the 2020-2021 Colour Creations Showcase. Each week we will be showcasing a different colour, we will be doing them in alphabetical order so we are starting with Balmy Blue the first colour for this year. I must admit it is one of the easiest colours to create with as I love this beautiful blue.

I started with a Whisper White card base and added a Balmy Blue Layer that I placed on Dimensionals I then Stamped the next layer which was whisper White using the Balmy Blue ink and the Birch Background stamp (which I please to say is carrying over to the new Catalogue) I then used Old Olive ink and the splotch stamp from the Dressed to Impress stamp set to add some colour to the background. I Stamped the Birds on the branch from the Free As A Bird stamp set (again Happy that is carrying over) and coloured them using my Blender pens, before fussy cutting them out. I stamped the blossom flower from the Forever Blossom bundle along with the leave and used the dies to cut them out after colouring them. Lastly I used the Sprig Punch and the Retiring Perennial Essence Vellum to add a little more.

For the inside of stamped my sentiment and some leaves before adding these to a Balmy Blue layer and gluing to the inside of the card.
All the items used in this project Except the Vellum are available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these items I would be please to help you Please give me either a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your order.

Colour Creations - Seaside Spray

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3907

Hi  Everyone, This week we have the 4th of the new 2019-2021 In colours and this one is called "Seaside Spray" it's such a lovely colour blue pale and pretty all in one. I know I wont have any problems using this colour.

Today I have used the Free as a bird stamp set and DSP for this card as well as doing some water colouring.

I started my card using a Night of Navy card base and added the Seaside Spray to the top of the card after stamping the small flower for the Free as a Bird stamp set as a tone on tone I then added the DSP to the bottom of the card and place the new ribbons in the same colour to the middle making a bow. I cut my ovals from the layering ovals set and stamped the birds onto the white card. I then stamped the sentiment onto the smaller white oval and mounted them onto dimensionals I then added one of the leaf trinkets and small pearls to finish off the front of the card.

I mounted my white insert onto some more Seaside Spray card and stamped the flowers and leaves I them water coloured these as well.
All the items used in this project can be found in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase all or any of these items please give me a call, PM or email so that I can help you with your purchase.

Colour Creations - Terracotta Tile

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3873

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all doing well? This week we have a lovely colour for you it's called Terracotta Tile I don't think I have to explain this colour as it speaks for it's self. As I don't have a lot of items in this colour yet only card stock I used this colour as my layers on my card.

I also used the Free as a bird bundle as I love this set and I made a middle pop-up easel card. I coloured my birds using Pumpkin Pie Blender Pens as this was very close in colour and I thought it looked really lovely on the birds. This is a very easy card to make and it will feature on my YOUTUBE channel during July or August and a Tutorial will also be on my Facebook Group page at the same time.

As you can see I have a little message under the flap but this is not where you write your message. I have fussy cut out some of the flowers from the set and used them as my stopper for the easel part of the card and added some clear epoxy drops the centre to finished them off.

Tadah!  This is where you write your message on the bottom. I have used the Terracotta Tile as a layer here as well, having the writing panel on the bottom of the card also give it more strength.
All the items used in the project are in the current 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call, PM or email me so that I can help you with your purchase.
