Week 16 Flirty Flamingo
This week we a featuring the Colour Called Flirty Flamingo a Pretty Pink, but not a colour I use very often as I find it hard to work with. So this week was a challenge for me. Flirty Flamingo are part of the Bights Collection of Colours.
For my card this week I chose to use a few different sets together to create a Sunny card to help usher in the Spring here in Australia.
I wanted to make a whimsical card and this is what I came up with. Using a layering circle for the sun I then added the smallest of the Triangles to put the rays in. I then stamped the Rain drops in Flirty Flamingo so they could be seen. I then cut out the lattice from the Best Year Bundle to look like a window and then added the Umbrellas from the Pretty Parasol and Under My Umbrella sets. I thought this looked whimsical to me.
My insert reflected the outside but was still simple so the card could be used for many occasions.
