Week 31 Lemon Lime Twist - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and Welcome to week 31 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Called "Lemon Lime Twist" and I really love this colour. It a kind of bright green, and as green is my favourite colour I didn't have to try very hard to come up with a card for you all.

I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and added a Mossy Meadow layer and then some DSP from the Flowering Zinnias (this is an online exclusive product). I wanted to use something that I haven't used in a while so I chose the Ice Cream Swirl bundle to create a lovely Vanilla and Lime ice cream cone.

I added a piece of card to make a stick, sticking out of the ice cream with my Happy Birthday on it, and red sprinkles on the ice cream. It look so nice I had the worst craving for ice cream after......lol   I finished off the front of the card with the sequins in the same colour.

I kept the inside of the card plain and added my Mossy Meadow layer and Basic White the stamped the cherries down the left-hand side using the blends to colour them in. I just added make a wish for my sentiment.

All the items I used for this project can be found either as an online exclusive or in the 2024-25 Stampin' up! Annual catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card that I made please feel free to contact me. Likewise if you would like to purchase these product.

Week 30 Higland Heather - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 30 of the Colour Creations Blog-hop. We are an Australian team of stamper who enjoy creating and highlighting a different colour from the Stampin' Up! range each week. This week our collour is called Highland Heather, it a lovely light purple colour and I do like it very much. I have chosen to use the Attention Shoppers bundle with it this week and it went together just as I had imagined it.

I started with a Highland Heather card base and added a Blackberry Bliss layer and then the DSP from the To Market Suite. I then cut out 2 deckled circles one in Highland Heather and the other in Silver Mirror card, different sizes. I also cut out the shopping trolley in Silver and Early Espresso. I stamped 6 of the Shopping bags and coloured them in an array of different colours, piling them into the trolley.

I also stamped my message and embossed with silver embossing powder. I then mounted the trolley onto the front of the card using dimensionals. I didn't add any bling to the front of the card as I thought it would get lost among the silver mirror card.

With my insert I used another layer of Blackberry Bliss and then Basic White. Stamping my sentiment in Highland Heather and then another shopping bag that I coloured. This bundle is really great for those shopaholic's out there. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2024-25 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or my card design please feel free to contact me. Like wise if you would to purchase these product.

Week 29 Gray Granite - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 29 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop. Our featured colour this week is called Gray Granite, it's not a colour I use a lot. So once again I took the the Annual catalogue for inspiration, and cased another card from the Lily Pond Lane Suite.

I started with a Gray Granite card base and added a Basic Gray layer. Using the DSP that looks like a scene to finish off the layers. As the DSP was wider than the card I cut 1 1/2 inches (3.8cm) off of each end and glued these to each end of the card and then mounted the middle section onto dimensionals to cover the middle section of the card front. I cut out some duck from the DSP and mounted them on the front as a little family. I used the Deckled Circles for the senitment. I used a dauber to brush the edges so that it wasn't so stark white and finished off with some of the dappled dot.

It may not seem like just putting middle section of the DSP up on dimensionals is much but it really did add extra dimension to the card front. I kept the inside of my card very plain the just a Basic Gray layer and Basic white. I stamped using Gray Granite inside and on the front. This again was my take on one of the cards in the catalogue and I was happy to be able to use this set.

All the items used in this project can be found in the Stampin' Up! Annual 2024-25 Catalogue. the suite is on page 45. I loved this set, but have struggled to find the right cards to make using it. But I think this has given me inspiration to use it more. If you would like to know more about this suite or how I made this card please feel free to contact me.

Week 28 Granny Apple Green - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 28, can you believe we are in November already. Where has the time gone? This week we have another green for you that we are featuring, it's called Granny Apple Green and it really does look like an Apple. I wanted to do something I don't normally do and that was to case the catalogue. So I search through and found this one Using the Lily Pond Lane Suite. Adding my own twist along the way.

I Started with a Basic White card base and added a Granny Apple Green layer. I then used the deckled Circles to put out the DSP from the suit and another in White to place under it. Using Balmy Blue on the white to give the appearance of water. I then cut out the reeds and lilly pads from Granny Apple Green and the flowers and rushes from Peach Pie. I also cut the wings to the duck in Peach Pie and the main part of the birds in Basic Gray. I put the DSP layer up on dimensionals and added my sentiment to the top left. Finishing off the front with the Dappled Dots.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with a Granny Apple Green layer and then another Basic White stamping front in inside with Granny Apple Green and placing some more reeds and Rushes in bottom corner along with a frog on a lily pad.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2024-25 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue except the Deckled Circles which are an online Exclusive. If you would like to know more about these product, please feel free to contact me.
