Week 5 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Blackberry Bliss

Hello Everyone and welcome to week 5 of the Art with Heart Team Colour Creations Blog-Hop. We are still on the B's and this week it is Blackberry Bliss. Not really one of my favourite colours as I like brighter colours myself.
This week I thought I would do a fun card so I have made a Faux Pinwheel card. I love the way this looks. I have used the Pansy Petals DSP for my pinwheel and mounted this onto Blackberry Bliss card stock I then place dimensionals onto the back of this section and mounted this onto a Crushed Curry layer before gluing to a Blackberry Bliss card blank. I then Stamped my Happy Birthday from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp set. I then coloured my Basic Pearls with my Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends and added them to the front of the card.

With is being a really easy card to make I have also written a tutorial for this card. So keep an eye out for that in the coming days.
My insert was very basic and once again I stamped my message from the Sweet Ice Cream bundle.

With little Blackberry Bliss droplets down the side. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, if you would like to purchase all of any of these projects please give me a call, email or PM me so that I might help you with your purchase.

  1. Di what a great fun fold - for a colour you are not particularly fond of you've made a fantastic card.

  4. Your card certainly is playful and full of fun Diane. What a great idea to make a pinwheel to really show off both sides of the lovely DSP.
