1 3/8 inch square and is just perfect for that little gift or surprise. The 1st time I made these I did them Christmas colours and put little tags on them to place around the table on Christmas Day.
Card Stock 2 3/8 x 6 inches
2 3/8 x 4 1/8
inches
DSP 1 ¼ x 1 ¼ Square (6 of
these)
On the large
piece of card stock, score on the short side at ½ and 1 7/8 inch marks.
Turn card to
the long side and score at 1 3/8, 2 ¾, 4 1/8 and 5 ½ inch marks.
On the small
piece of card stock, score on the short side at ½ and 1 7/8 inch marks.
Turn and
score on the long side at 1 3/8 and 2 ¾ inch marks.
Burnish all
the score lines on both pieces of card stock.
Cut away the
shaded areas on the card stock as shown in the pictures below.
Making sure
that on the small piece of card stock you cut on the inside of the score line.
Now glue the
2 pieces of card stock together as shown in the picture below.
Add your DSP
pieces to the 6 squares. Using a ½ inch hole punch, punch a half circle into
the last full square on the long piece of card.
Glue the 4
tabs as shown below.
Now fold to
form a small box.
