Colour Creations - Pretty Peacock

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3844

Hi Everyone, Here we are again with another of the 2019 - 2021 In Colours and this one is called "Pretty Peacock" and it is a lovely peacock bluey/green colour. I really don't think my photo's do it justice. This week I did struggle a bit with finding just the right elements for my card but this is what I came up with (I hope you like it).

I used the nesting dies from the Free as a Bird bundle and cut out the 2nd smallest one several times and layered them onto some Silver Foil Sheet with a rather large gap between them and the glued this to a white card base (not sure the white works well) but the pretty peacock didn't look right either.
I then stamped the flowers from the Floral Essence bundle on the vellum and punched them out, I added faceted gems to the centres of the flowers to finish them off. I then stamped my sentiment using Versa Mark and silver Embossing powder I place the tag onto the front of the card using dimensionals and then punched out the smallest butterfly from the Butterfly Gale punch and added this to the tag.

For the inside of the card I used a Pretty Peacock layer and white and did my stamping in Pretty Peacock ink. Simple but effective. All the items used in this project can be found in the New 2019 - 2020 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase all and any of the product for this project please give me either a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.
