Colour Creations - Petal Pink

Hi Everyone, Here we are with Petal Pink this week. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite colours as I like a nice bright Pink myself, but it's very pretty and I love it in the card that I have made this week.

 

I have used Smoky Slate along with the petal pink for this card and used the DSP from the Share What you Love pack. I also used the Dear Doily Bundle and the Humming Along Stamp set for this project.
I started with a Whisper White Card Base and add my layers as I went along stamping in Petal Pink and Memento ink I cut the wreath doily from the thinlets and glued this to the front of the card, I know it is quite a simple card and muted colours but I love it.

 

I shaped the sentiment tag to give it some dimension as I thought it looked a little flat and boring laying down. So using my bone folder to break the fibers and then place foam pad on the back to lift it up just that little bit more. I then added the gold faceted gems to finish it off.

 
I added 2 layer to the inside of my card to add extra interest and stamped the doilies randomly.

    I think we all agree that Petal Pink is not one of our favourite colours but I do love your colour combination and pretty card. Isn’t the Dear Doily set just great? Definitely one of my favourites.

    Great colour combo! I love how the die cut doily frames the stamped one, and the dimension in the banner is lovely.
