Week 32 Lemon Lolly - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hi everyone, and welcome to week 32 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our colour is called Lemon Lolly, it's a really pretty yellow, soft and great for young and old. I decided I wanted to have another play with the Latte Love bundle. This is an online exclusive and I really do love this set.

I started with a Lemon Lolly card base and added the Pecan Pie layer, then the DSP from the Latte Love DSP. I stamped directly onto the DSP using Early Espresso ink. I then cut out a cup from the DSP and also cut out the coffee post using the dies. I put black coffee in the pot and added a Gold lid and handle to the pot. Placing them onto the front of the card on an angle. I finished off the front with some of the Swirl dot from the same set.

I think the gold lid and handle make the pot look a bit more up market. What do you think?

For my insert I cut some more cups and glues them to my Basic White layer added some steam and coffee stain. I mounted this onto another layer of Pecan Pie and finished it off with my message.

All the items for this project can be found either online or in the 2024-25 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product, please feel free to contact me. At this stage I have no idea who will get this card.

Week 16 Calypso Coral - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 16 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour if Calypso Coral, it a lovely rusty colour that lends it's self to so many different styles. This week I have chosen to use the Online Exclusive Bundle Latte Love. This set can be purchased as a stand alone stamp set or in a bundle with Coordinating Dies. Or you can purchase the suite that means it comes with designer series paper, Adhesive backed Swirl dots and Polka dot Trim. These all coordinate beautifully.  So my card today is a Panel card, and I started with a Calypso Coral card base and added a Lemon Lolly layer before attaching the DSP from the suite.

I then added 2 layers of deckled circles and cut out 3 coffee cups from the DSP I stamped my sentiment onto the Lemon Lolly circles using Calypso Coral ink. Added my coffe cups and a few of the swirl dot. But it looked not quite right so I added the coffee stains and rings to finish off the front of the card.

This card stand up like a tower card and folds flat to fit into a regular envelope. But I hear you ask where do you sign this card, well that is on the back.

I added a Lemon Lolly layer along with a Basic White layer to the back of the card. I stamped my message in Calypso Coral. I also added some more coffee stains and rings. But once again it didn't look finished. so at the edge of the DSP there are some of the cup that are only parts so I cut one of these out and added it to the top left-hand side. Yep that made it look finished to me. (happy Chappy).

All the items used in this project are current and can be found either in the 2024-25 Annual catalogue or through the online Exclusive section of the website. If you would like to know more about these product or the card please feel free to contact me.

Week 46 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Smoky Slate

Hello and welcome to week 46 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Smoky Slate. I did wonder what I could do for this colour, as it's not a colour I use very often. But I think I made it work. I use the lovely Latte Love Suit. This is an online exclusive set and I am loving it I have made a few cards using it already.

This time I started with a Lemon Lolly card base and added the Smoky Slate as my layer. I love this DSP that to me looks like an old fashion table cloth pattern. I then stamped the mugs and spoons before colouring them using Smoky Slate blends. I filled my mugs with a nice medium blend of coffe using Pecan Pie ink. I stamped the steam in Basic Gray and cut them out by hand. gluing them to the cups. I mounted the cups spoons and sentiment using dimensionals finishing off with just one of the swirl dots.

I wanted to add a little more interest to the inside of the card than I usually do so some coffee stains and a cup, again colouring with blends. I think the Lemon Lolly really brings out the Smoky Slate and they go together really well. I can see me using this set a real lot. If you would like to know more about this online exclusive product or any other online exclusive product please feel free to contact me.

Week 14 2023-34 Colour Creations Blog-hop - Blueberry Bushel

Hello and welcome to week 14 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is another returning colour called Blueberry Bushel. I love this blue it's so vibrant. I have chosen another Fancy Fold for you all and I love how this fold turned out.

It's called a Box in a Box card and it measures 7 x 5 inches (17.8 x 12.7cm), and it lays flat for posting. So I started with a Blueberry Bushel base and added Lemon Lolly for my layer and the Bright and Beautiful DSP.  Adding the Balloons from the same bundle. I also added the lovely Happy Birthday from the Wanted to Say die set.

I wanted the Happy Birthday to stand up and really pop so I added small pieces of card to the back and placed it above the inner boxes diamond shape section. I think it really does work good on this design.

As you can see on in the picture above. I finished off the front of the card with iridescent Rhinestones on the balloons.

I added a writing panel to the back of the card so that I had a place to write my message. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the fancy fold please feel free to contact me via email, phone or PM.

Week 8 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Lemon Lolly

Hello and welcome to week 8 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is another of the new colours called Lemon Lolly. What a beautiful bright Yellow and a really happy colour. Lemon Lolly is part of the Subtles collection. I have chosen a tri fold card to highlight this lovely colour today.

I started with a Lemon Lolly card base and added Granny Apple Green for a layer and then the DSP from the Bright a Beautiful papers. Even thought in the catalogue it doesn't list Lemon Lolly it does on the packaging of the DSP.  I used the Sweet Citrus Bundle for the fruit on the front and inside stamping the rind of the fruit using Lemon Line Twist and Lemon Lolly for the Flesh of the fruit. Finishing off the front of the card using the Stylish Shapes Dies for the tag and iridescent Rhinestones.

I also added more fruit to the inside of the card to carry the theme over. This is a really lovely Happy card, and I love the colour combo that I used.

I used the other side of the DSP for the middle section of the card. All the items used in this project can be found in the current 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card design please feel free to contact me via Phone, Email or PM so that I might help you.
